Building Relationships

Within relationships, we grow. In this process group, we will work together in the here-and-now to explore interpersonal dynamics that may be holding you back. Receive real-time feedback about your impact on others and gain comfort with vulnerability in a safe space. This group will help you cultivate your skills in building strong bonds with others and experience connection, depth and intimacy.

Group therapy will help you to

  • Explore your authentic self 

  • Reduce feelings of isolation and anxiety

  • Practice honesty and relational risk-taking

  • Build resilience and communication skills.

This mixed-gender group is appropriate for adults over 25. Initial intake interviews happening now.

When: Weekly on Thursdays: 12:30 – 1:45 pm

Where: Berkeley, CA - in-person

Cost: $95.00 per session

Group Facilitators:

Ben Goldstone, LMFT is a therapist and psychoanalyst in private practice in Berkeley. He is a former staff clinician at Kaiser where he developed and ran groups for Adults and Adolescents from diverse populations presenting concerns of addiction, identity, culture, relationships, and parenting for over 15 years. Rachel Goldstone, MD is a psychiatrist in private practice in Oakland. She is a former director of the UCSF Medical Student Wellbeing Program where she led groups for many years, in addition to providing other clinical services such as individual and couples therapy, and mentorship programming to support diversity at UCSF. She is a clinical professor at UCSF School of Medicine. Ph: 510.653.3337
